a bit about me:

I am a freelance American Sign Language interpreter, certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. I learned to sign as a child, grew up in the Deaf community, and have been a professional interpreter since 2008.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting from California State University Fresno, and completed graduate coursework focusing on the intersection of language and identity at University of Oregon. In my years as a Sign Language Interpreter, I have interpreted in a wide variety of settings, from government affairs and international business to platform and travel interpreting.

Through my work as an interpreter, I strive to build connections and bolster community. I'm passionate about this work and I'm thankful everyday to be in such an inspiring field.
